Freedom Lily Kennedy came into our lives on March 18, 2001. I picked her to join our family on a rainy day at a Russell Feed and Supply store in Fort Worth, Texas. As we moved several times across the country, Freedom was always joyfully chirping in our different homes. My darling little bird watched me grow up as she chirped daily through the over ten years we enjoyed together.
Freedom did not let a cage limit her life. She recognized what it really means to live, being fully present in each moment and grateful for the many blessings bestowed upon her. Freedom embraced each breath and each day with bursts of energy and delight, her very presence was inspiring. Our home is silent of her chirps, but our hearts are filled with the joy that her songs brought into our lives.
Freedom, we will always love you. Fly free my Freedom. We look forward to seeing you again in Heaven!
