Grace: More Than We Deserve, Greater Than We Imagine
By Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson Publishers, 2012)
Whether you are a
Max Lucado fan or not, this book is definitely worth the time reading. The
words written in this book are easily understood and highly engaging to people
of all walks and places in their lives.
Whatever you may be looking for in life or whatever you may feel your life is lacking, this book will fill in the holes and restore your spirit. The entertaining parallels of stories and truth create a gymnastics class for the verbal function of the audible reader.
“Grace is simply another word for God’s tumbling, rumbling reservoir of strength and protection. It comes at us not occasionally or miserably but constantly and aggressively, wave upon wave,” (Lucado, 2012, p. 94).

Bible verse and
quotes are threaded throughout the delicious feast of this book. A Reader’s
Guide is included in the back of the book to add additional breadth to readers
who want to scuba dive further into the topics discussed.
“More verb than
noun, more present tense than past tense, grace didn’t just happen; it happens,”
(Lucado, 2012, p. 146). This book would make a great addition to your personal
library and would make a wonderful gift also.
