Space Shuttle Endeavour Flyover
The sun heated the desert as people from all over the
Antelope Valley scouted out a place for viewing the Space Shuttle Endeavour’s
final tour over California.
Around 8:15 am today, the Endeavour took off from Edwards
Air Force Base, perched on top of a Boeing 747. The Endeavour flew over
Lancaster, Palmdale, up to Northern California, and back to the Los Angeles
area, landing at the Los Angeles Airport.
Watching Endeavour’s triumphant performance grace the
crystal clear sky of California was a sight to see. Spirit and I enjoyed the opportunity
to view this once-in-a-lifetime event.
The YouTube video below presents Endeavour flying over Plant 42 in Palmdale.
